A Big Day

First of all, Happy Birthday to my Mom!!!!! You are a great mom and Grandma!!!!!
Secondly, we are now homeowners!!!! We are very excited about this, although it is still a little surreal. Maybe because we signed our papers and then Barney had to go to work?!?! Anyway, we met the owners and they are such nice people and so happy that a family is moving into the house. I can't wait to get in there and start cleaning so that we can move in!!!

Birthdays, Birthdays!

Happy, happy second birthday to Kaitlyn!!! She turned 2 yesterday and wanted to eat cake for breakfast! We had a wonderful day starting out with our ritual of breakfast at Brad's Place with Matt, Dawn, and Carlie. They gave Kaitlyn some cute gifts, including Mrs. Potato head, which has become her favorite toy and kept her occupied in the car the whole way to the Lupa Zoo :) We had a great time at the Lupa Zoo. Unfortunately, Kaitlyn has learned the concept of scared, so it was "I'm scared the llama", "I'm scared the rooster", etc.. She did have her first pony ride on Gus the pony and loved it! She did great balancing herself on the pony and gave Gus a nice pat.

After the Lupa Zoo we headed home for Kaitlyn's nap. When she woke up she helped me frost her cake with blue icing, as she requested. We had one of her favorite dinners, spaghetti and meatballs. Then we sang happy birthday and Kaitlyn blew out the candles on her own!
Mmmm..the cake was yummy and Kaitlyn loved eating the frosting. After Cake we opened presents!

It was a great day!!!

Also, happy 5th birthday to Connor, Happy Birthday to Brendan, and Happy Birthday to my Dad!!!!!!!

Harry Potter.....

I bought the last installment of the Harry Potter series this morning at Target in Keene, NH. I have not been able to open it yet as we had Connor's birthday party this afternoon, it was a lot of fun :) I will probably have the book finished by Monday morning :) I am looking forward to seeing the new movie as well. Thanks Ruthie for coming shopping with me this morning!!!!!

What a busy summer!!!

Where does the time go? I have so much to update that this will just be a list of updates to come. So let's see....
1. Lindsay and Jason's Wedding - it was fabulous and they were so happy!!!
2. We've bought a house and close on the 31st!!! It is such a process though.
3. Angela and Jamie's Wedding - what fun we had with Erin and Bryan!!
4. Barney and I have been married for 3 years now, crazy!!
5. Our vacation to Sesame Place, I'm working on updating the pictures right now!! kaitlyn had such a great time :)
6. Saying goodbye to Sara and Maren :(

I know there's more to add, but I just can't think of it right now. We've received the invitation to Dawn and Matt's wedding and Barney was just able to switch his shift with someone to get the day off so we can all go to the reception. I'm also planning a bridal shower for a special friend which is coming up soon, 2 days before my house closing, I'm nuts!! Kaitlyn has told me that she wants a red cake with sprinkles and candles on it for her birthday. Red frosting?!?!?!
